Nedávno som si všimol na mojom aute, Fabia 1.2 HTP 47kW BME, 88000 km, 2006, že občas keď naštartujem po dlhšom statí motor ma vyššie otáčky na voľnobehu, cca 1100, po čase sa potom na par sekúnd otáčky zvýšia a vrátia sa na 1100, po minúte na to sa potom

I've heard it's quite common on the 1.2 to have an issue with the pistons burning out. Does anyone know if this is true or if they have had Anny issues with this engine. Drill off 6.5mm rivet heads and remove the door loud speaker to allow access to the loom at the hinge end. Carefully pull off the soft foam cover over the door lock access aperture. You can now disconnect the loom from all the door electrical components and pull off the loom anchor studs.

Hi there we have a Skoda Fabia 1.2 HTP engine code CHF, it is using a large amount of oil but not smoking much. We did a compression test and found that cylinder 3 is well down on the other 2. Would this be likely a piston ring or a head problem. Valve stem seals and valve guides?
