Name: Allen. Ford Model: Focus. Ford Year: 2005. UK/Ireland Location: Worcestershire. Posted July 29, 2014. Hi All, I have a bit of a problem with my 2005 Mk2 1.6 tdci Focus. It has no DPF, so any problems with that can be discounted. The problems began last winter, when the car would occasionally start up in limp mode on cold mornings.
Some help needed please! I have a Focus Estate MK2 1.6 TDCi, and recently it's developed a fault where after taking engine revs over around 2000rpm, and then depressing the clutch to change gear, the engine will stall. It can go a little over 2000, but not much. When it stalls, the engine restarts, but it has to turn over a few times before it
I've found plenty of focuses with the 1.6 diesel engine in my area (all of them manuals, I don't like automatics) but to be honest I've heard really bad things about both the engine and the car (engine failures, injector failures, bits and bobs breaking in the car etc).So anybody who's owned one of these bad boys had any serious problems?
Morning, looking for some help. I have just purchased a Connect 1.6TDCi 115ps 2015my, 89834 miles. after 2 days the temp warning light came on red and the coolant fan was running on after engine stop. Also temp gauge stopped working. Checked the reservoir and it seemed very dark and empty, remove
