Only ringed city imo. You basically get 1 decent boss, budget sif and a few spells in the other one for $20. Ringed city is pretty good because you get 4 bosses and only one is bad (sometimes its ok because its pvp) plus way more spells and drippier armour, not to mention some amazing +3 rings including ring of favour, havel's ring, and silver serpent ring

1. BoxJukes. IIRC, all the dlc enemies and bosses have much higher elemental resists so you’re much better off using a pure physical build. At least that has given me the best results. Otherwise the dlc is just a step up in difficulty from the base game. 3.
As a bonus, here's what each game took me blind with DLC included: Demon's Souls: 7 hours. Dark Souls 1: 19 hours. Dark Souls 2: 41 hours. Dark Souls 3: 40 hours.

Forst playthrough was like 80 hours including DLC, the next one was 25. You get so much better at it while playing, but you do have to put in the time. I'd say bosses get cooler towards the end, so it's worth sticking with it.
